Pūhoro partnered with Te Pūtahitanga o te Waipounamu and Ara Institute of Canterbury to launch the kaupapa in Christchurch in 2019. 

These regional partnerships in Christchurch have brought much needed resource and expertise to the Pūhoro kaupapa in the realisation of the dreams and aspirations of the rangatahi Māori of Ōtautahi.
